Rolling Hills Asylum is a well-documented paranormal hot spot, now offering opportunities for ghost hunting and historical tours! Paranormal activity is abundant: disembodied voices (including the infamous "screaming lady"), shadow people, doors slamming, sounds of footsteps and furniture moving, children laughing, full body apparitions, touching, hair tugs, and more are all regular occurrences.
Originally known as The Genesee County Poor Farm, the facility opened its doors in 1827. Over the last 183 years, the property operated as an infirmary, nursing home, even a carriage museum and antiques mall... until the discovery of its ghostly inhabitants and haunted activity!
Former residents included widows, orphans, unwed mothers, tuberculosis patients, drunkards, lunatics, civil war veterans, and criminals. For dates and pricing go to RollingHillsAsylum.com or email info@RollingHillsAsylum.com.
