Homemade mashed potatoes and good Hoosier staples, and don't forget to leave room for dessert. Every TV was playing the Andy Griffith Show, so you got to hear the theme song whistled a few times....

Cool little diner. They carry the theme throughout inside, from the decor through the menu selection. Good home style food.
[CornerstoneJeep, 10/19/2017]Hard to miss with the awesome period Mayberry police car right out front. Yay! (Inside there's a news story on the wall about the fight they had to keep the car in its "prime" parking spot. Really?) Such a friendly, inviting, welcoming staff. The food was delish! Huge portions. Andy Griffith show playing on TVs everywhere, memorabilia, autographed pictures and stories aplenty. Small shop in front of cafe. We will be making another trip to this area just to go here again.

Mayberry Cafe has very polite staff, wonderful food, and is a very cute cafe. The police car was in the shop, which was a little disappointing as we really wanted pictures. We enjoyed all the memorabilia. Andy Griffith will be missed, as we just heard this morning of his death.
[Toni, 07/03/2012]Mayberry Cafe is a small diner/cafe serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Outside of the cafe is an old police car, and inside the cafe, the televisions play episodes of Andy Griffith. Photos of Andy Griffith cast members line the walls; the cafe hosts an Opie Look-a-Like contest; and the bill comes on a tray with a photo of Barney Fife. Good food and a fun atmosphere.
