Largest Catholic church in America, and full of brightly colored ceiling mosaics, stained glass windows, and chapels dedicated to the Virgin Mary, patroness of various countries. Guided or self-guided tours. Also includes a large Catholic-themed bookstore and a cafeteria.
Huge and free and worth a stop, and close to the Franciscan monastery (replica catacombs).
