The Giant Art Guys are now at the Shepherd Drive location of Mainland Auto Sales, not the Airline Drive location. They're standing back-to-back with fresh new suit colors.

"Join the family!" The Giant Art Guys have been updated and repainted since your last posting in 2015 -- twice! The latest iteration now depicts Giant Jack (pictured on left) as clean shaven. The owners of the used car lot still do not know the origin, but the Houston art community still does.

[The Art Guys, 02/04/2015]According to a link sent by The Art Guys, their statues are being patched and repainted by a new property owner "without knowing the origin of the piece or who it represents." The Art Guys are apparently okay with that.
The report dated April 2009 is incorrect. The Introspective Guys are still on N. Shepherd and have not been missing.

The Art Guys' old neighborhood became gentrified and kicked them out in 2019. They moved to a new address along with their old auto dealership, and now stand back-to-back, vigilant against any further upscale encroachment.
