So well preserved! Experience what it was like to stay in the old days! There is a little store in the lobby that sells t-shirts, books, magazines, Route 66 items, and other travel mementos. I try to spend a little here and there if I can to help keep it open for future travelers.

Stayed here on a whim... decided to detour off our road trip to check out Route 66 and so glad we did. Connie the owner was so nice and the rooms (we were in 17) were clean and charming and comfy! Love the colors and decor. Never walked into a hotel room that smelled so fresh. We really, really loved it and felt at home. We ate dinner at Frisco's and breakfast and Shelly's -- would recommend both.

Stop into The Wagon Wheel for a trip back into time. Located along Historic Route 66 in Cuba Missouri. Built in 1935. Very nice place to stay.
[James Aldridge, 08/07/2012]Fantastically renovated! The Wagon Wheel Motel was a highlight of our Route 66 trip. This was a labor of love for the owner and her family. The rooms were gutted and completely redone. Rooms include flat screen TVs and comfortable beds.
[T B, 02/01/2011]This motel has been undergoing a complete renovation process over the past year or so. It had been in a state of disrepair, but looks refreshed and ready for the newest generation of Route 66 travelers.
Be sure to check out the original neon sign out front. They just don't make 'em like that anymore!
