This delightful small museum features several recreations of historic local haunts including a creepy vintage dentist's office, a complete ice cream parlor and of course, the hippie van. The stories from locals posted are heartwarming and the artifacts (ranging from fascinating -- early wine machinery -- to confusing -- why are there two Barbie dolls just hanging out by the trains?) are a great window into Mendocino.
The mystical, gypsytastic hippie van is definitely the star of the show and worth the $4 admission.
