It was several years ago that I was there, and I ran across it by accident. But I had their giant hardback catalog of carriages and wagons for years, as my ex-husband and I ran a carriage company.
There are so many carriages, beautifully restored, that they are parked in layers, some are on "shelves" over the bottom ones. They have hearses and drays and wagons and fancy broughams and Victorias and Hansom cabs. It probably isthe largest collection, as it says. I can't imagine there'd be a bigger one.
There are informative plaques by some of the buggies and carriages. Worthwhile if you're at all into horses, driving horses, or transportation history.
