Santa's Rocket Sleigh - Vague Recollections

My grandfather, Loyd B. Laster, owned the Santa Claus Rocket ships that went all over our nation to different cities (Louisville, KY; Tok, AK) and gave boys and girls a ride around the block. Santa and Mrs Claus would ride with them and hand out candy canes.

I was just a little boy and remember several of the units there at my grandma and grandpas house. I would venture off, as most little boys do, and go inside one of the rocket ships, lift up the seat, and find lots of small candy canes. Yes, I would sit there and eat candy canes until my grandmother would yell for me and ask "Where have you been?"

I wouldn't tell her, but somehow I had a feeling she knew.
