Walked into the bank and the employees immediately pointed the statue out for me. One of them asked (rather bemusedly) if the statue was part of a scavenger hunt, since apparently many people ask to see it. Kudos to the bank for leaving it visible to the public.

Here is yet another statue of the Boy and His Leaking Boot. This particular sculpture first appeared in 1890 at the Broadwater Hotel in a fountain at the entrance to the Natatorium and was a fixture there until 1935 when a series of earthquakes severely damaged Helena and destroyed the once exotic resort.
Today, the Boy can be seen inside the U.S. Bank building on Last Chance Gulch, along with a fine painting showing the Broadwater Hotel and natatorium. Unfortunately, the fountain is no longer working. The bank personnel are most accommodating and even allow photographs of the Boy.
