Tractor Sculpture, Other Scrap Art
Next to seemingly random pieces of crap welded together, you'll see a few much more creative sculptures designed and built by local artists, including the world's largest farmer on a tractor sculpture (which seems inspired by the "tractor crossing" road signs in the area).
We stopped during a road trip last summer, and while admiring a sculpture of a stack of birds standing on each other, a woman walked up to us and said -- in a flawless Minnesotan accent -- "Hey, you like that one!?" We said yes, so she responded "That guy there made it!" She was pointing at her husband who was getting out of their car! He walked over and talked to us for a while about his work, which made it even more worth the stop.
