Larry and Joe were fantastic tour guides, having spent their entire lives working in the coal mines. Their personal stories really make the tour extra special. We learned a lot! My four teenagers really enjoyed it too!

The coal car into the mine was a unique experience. It's loud, fast and travels through complete darkness.
[Stacy, 11/06/2014]The Tour-Ed Mine and Museum helps you experience what it was like to be a coal miner in the 1850s. The guides are experienced coal miners who treat visitors to an amazing, educational tour 160 feet below ground.
There is also an above-ground strip mine, and a 1785 log house. Haunted Mine tour is in October for Halloween.
