At an interstate highway rest stop, we came upon large metal sculptures of buffalo and an Indian on a horse in a field. Just south of the Iowa border into Missouri off of I-35 at the first rest stop going south. We saw them in the distance in a field. Stopped to get out and take pictures, because as we were driving through the sun was setting behind them. You can walk up to a couple of the statues, as they are in the dog run for the rest stop.
One of the walls in the rest stop was a full mosaic mural of Missouri's history.
