Mouse Surplus

We drove out to Mouse Surplus on February 10 and found it was gone! There was just a pile of rubble and an angry, barking dog. Bad for Disney bargains, but it would make a great location if John Boorman ever directs Deliverance II. Look for the sign spray-painted on a piece of wood: "No" Trespassing.

Mouse Surplus

When the Walt Disney World resort refurbishes a hotel room, updates a restaurant or gift shop, or otherwise has something they no longer need, they sell it to Mouse Surplus in Haines City. Many items are sold on eBay, but they also maintain a warehouse which is open for browsing 6 days a week.

This is probably hit or miss in terms of great stuff, but in the past they've had props and components from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and other retired attractions at Epcot and Disney World.
