Located in a mini-mall built over what used to be "Gower Gulch," the low-budget film center in the Golden Age of Hollywood, is a sad and completely forgotten Walk Of Fame. Enshrined in concrete forever (or at least the next ten years) are a disparate array of film directors, Western stars, and also-rans. You know if they let Morton Downey, Jr. in, they had no scruples in their selection process.

The strip-mall is named Gower Gulch, after the 1920s era cluster of studios in the area. It appears that a Walk of Fame ("Home of the Stars") was started in 1992-93, several star plaques and handprints were placed, and then the idea fizzled out.
