Very nice stop to walk across the covered bridge and check it all out. Still has a nice picnic area.

Definitely have to walk the bridge to realize how big it is. There is a nice picnic area on one side of it.

The total roof length is approximately 462 ft. Built in 1875 by Joseph J. Daniels, it took nine months and cost $18,142. Spans the East Fork of the White River. Closed to traffic in 1972. Currently being restored.
