In 1982, Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot guitarist Randy Rhoads was passenger on a small plane that accidentally tapped the tour bus on its third buzz-by. Rhoads remains, identified via dental records, are in a family mausoleum.

Mt. View Cemetery on corner of Highland and Waterman. His grace is at front entrance. First large white mausoleum on left as you enter. Famous guitarist played with Ozzy Osbourne - died in plane crash while buzzing the tour bus.
[Margie Arnett, 12/21/2010]Rhoads died on March 19, 1982, and it's true. He was a aboard a small plane that managed to buzz the tour bus and snoozing band members twice, with no mishap. Third time's a charm. His tomb is a family mausoleum with a gated open front.
