Creepy Henry Ford Statue

A very interesting stop to learn about how Henry Ford created the town of Richmond Hill, Georgia. The curators at the museum are nice and knowledgeable. Creepy Ford did not disappoint: he is indeed creepy and even the museum curator agreed.

Creepy Henry Ford Statue

The creepy Henry Ford statue has moved down the street to the Richmond Hill Historical Society Museum in the Henry Ford Kindergarten. According to the proprietor it is "on loan" to them. The museum is filled with all things Henry Ford. The proprietor is extremely knowledgeable and willing to spend time to show and tell you about everything there.

The Henry Ford is in the lobby...behind a wall of glass. He's about 5 feet tall and smiling at all who enter! The (live) gals behind another glass are very friendly and all smiles, too (Hey, it IS the South after all!).

When I asked about taking a photo of Henry, they kindly opened the inner door so I could shoot without glare. It was then that one of the gals gave a type of shy-but proud smile and told me that, "He scares small children when he is lit up at night." I could see that happening.
