Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada: Chuck the Channel Catfish
Selkirk calls itself the "Catfish Capital of the World" because of the record size catches plucked from its stretch of the Red River. The 33-foot-high fiberglass statue, erected in 1986, is named for local fisherman Chuck Norquay, who drowned in that same river.

Chuck the Channel Cat
