Port Wentworth, Georgia: Sugar Explosion Memorial
Park and memorial remembers 14 victims of a 2008 sugar dust explosion at the Imperial Sugar refinery. The memorial in front of the refinery is comprised of bricks shaped as a cross, and a bronze sculpture of hands releasing 14 doves.

- I-95 exit 109 and turn south on Augusta Road. Drive about 2.9 miles and turn left on Bonnybridge Rd. Drive about 0.9 mile and turn right at GA-25S (S. Coastal Hwy). Drive about 1.2 miles and turn left on Oxnard Dr. past employee parking, cross railroad tracks. Legacy Park is under ancient oaks on left.
