Both stacks of luggage are to the ceiling. Beyond the usual assortment of luggage, there are guitar and trombone cases and a golf bag with clubs.

[norma burton, 04/04/2013]Just to add some more details, the Sacramento airport has two terminals; the large stack of luggage is in terminal A. There is some really cool public art in terminal B as well, including a giant red rabbit suspended from the ceiling over the escalators.

When we went to pick up our luggage at the Sacramento International Airport, we really got a big kick out of the big stack of luggage. We really enjoyed identifying our old luggage. The large piles can only be seen when you are picking up your baggage from a trip.
I only got a picture of one huge stack -- there are two. This really put a smile on our faces after a long, cramped trip.
