The Big Moose Deli and Country store located in the Berkshire Mountains in Hoosick. There is a lot of cool stuff inside and out. It is only open seasonally.

After seeing this on our drive up to New Hampshire, we needed to stop and check it out on our return trip. It was an interesting visit as there was a lot to see when wandering through the store. They had food, drinks, and a wide array of souvenirs. For us it was the pause that refreshed us for a long drive back to New Jersey.
There is also a roadside marker noting that Chester A. Arthur, America's 21st President, lived in the Hoosick area around the 1850s.

Country kitsch including giant moose, bulls, ice cream cones and a cartoon moose scene you can peek your face through with a friend for a goofy photo.
The store has lots of tacky Vermont souvenirs despite its location in New York. I'm about to feast on my "Big Moose Road Kill Death by Jerky."
