Large Chicken

I live one mile east and see the chicken every day. The new owners took it down a few years ago, for a short time, to build it a new, sturdier base.

Large Chicken

The new owners of the chicken farm have removed the large chicken. It no longer exists. I'm not sure if it has been moved elsewhere (I live in the area).

Big chicken.

Giant Chicken

The giant chicken is still standing majestically in front of the Waukesha egg farm.

It's a big bird with an angry face. Buy eggs, then run.

Giant Chicken

Giant Chicken in front of the old egg farm on Hwy 59. Still north facing on its table. Won't somebody knit this bird a scarf for the winter?

Giant Chicken

A large white chicken stands atop a table in front of the local Egg Farm on Hwy. 59 west of Waukesha. This chicken looks REAL -- unlike the much touted Big Chicken of Marietta, Georgia which is rather robot like.

The giant chicken was already there when I first moved to the area in 1976. The egg farm is still in existence. The chicken looks northward across the highway -- wistfully dreaming of that most sought after of havens, a cottage in the northwoods!
