Pinky the Elephant is still residing at Hagstrom Paving at 167 Western Avenue. The day that we saw her she was looking patriotic, wearing an American flag.

Didn't find Pinky at the listed destination but stumbled upon her at Hagstrom Paving CO. She was in front of the building. all decorated for the holidays. Not sure how much longer she would remain there.

Was not there. Pinky must be on vacation, or off for a walk.
[Pat, 09/18/2019]Pinky is on wheels. Her exact location in Gloucester is often a mystery, so this is more of a lucky timing attraction.
Pinky now stands at 2 Washington Street in Gloucester.
[Steve Favazza, 08/07/2019]Pinky is on a trailer, promoting a local carnival. This elephant has a bad habit of disappearing for years at a time. Maybe if enough people visit, Pinky will stick around.
A new home has been found for the fiberglass Pink Elephant that has stood in front of a Rt. 114 Chrysler-Plymouth-Jeep dealership in Peabody since 1978. Known as "Pinky," the elephant is 12 ft. tall, 20 ft. long, and bolted to a flatbed trailer. The Medeiros family owners have closed their business and are selling all of the assets, including Pinky.
Jim Medeiros Jr. filled us in on Pinky's storied life at the dealership: He's been the mascot along the highway for almost 30 years. He's been stolen three times as a college prank, damaged twice, and was missing for 10-12 days in one incident. For many years Pinky was seasonally attired, with ear muffs in the winter and sun glasses in the summer. But they stopped that after those were stolen, too.
If the deal finalizes, Pinky appears bound for a new home promoting a business on Rt. 127 in Gloucester on the North Shore.
