- 40 miles southeast of Moose Jaw via SK 2, Hwy 716, just south of Levuka. From Briercrest drive west on Route 716/Veterans Drive (a dirt road) for 11 kilometers. Then turn right onto unnamed dirt road. You'll see trees a kilometer north, and in front of them, on the right, the bright red shirt of the Muffler Man.

The Muffler Man standing in the middle of a crop field in rural Saskatchewan is an advertising statue for a fiberglass and aluminum body shop. It's the only building around for miles.
The owner told me that he purchased the muffler man over 30 years ago at a wrecking yard. At that time the statue was in very bad shape and he had to do extensive work to rebuild him. He had to completely refabricate the left arm and patch the rest as the figure was "completely flattened". He said only a fiberglass specialist could have pulled off the repair job.
It's been sitting in his field nearby for over 25 years; pilots from the local Moose Jaw airbase use the statue as a landmark for pilot training. He also said that he discovered a sticker for International Fiberglass inside one the legs.
