President Dwight D. Eisenhower was instrumental in building the American interstate highway system. This large-than-life bronze of Ike in his Army general duds stands in a roundabout on Eisenhower Ave. He's probably thinking about how to replace it with an overpass and some feeder ramps.

This statue has been removed and is in storage with the city until a new home can be found. The traffic circle that he stood in is being turned into a T-intersection.
