There must have been a remodel. The exhibit is been reduced to a single display case. Not as impressive as it once was.

Who would have thought you could see a museum-quality display at Burger King. They have artifacts, stories, news clippings, great stories. Definitely worth the stop.

[Donna, 01/03/2015]In 2014, the last of the original 29 Navajo "code talkers" died. The Navajos were recruited by the Marine Corps for WW2 battlefield radio communications, using a language that non-Navajos couldn't decipher. The Code Talker program wasn't declassified and made public until 1968.

Though perhaps not connected with the reduced display footprint at the BK. There's a new Navajo Code Talker museum coming -- ground broken in August 2022 -- in Tse Bonito, New Mexico. It will chronicle and honor achievements of the 400 native Americans who served in the U.S. Marine Corps as secret message radio experts during World War II.
