Along the highway in a field there is a UFO complete with an alien inside that is surrounded by at least seven metal dinosaurs. An unexpected surprise along an ordinary highway.

In a field on the south side of Route 11, about two miles east of Fairplay and just east of the Highway Z crossroad, stands a field of metal dinosaurs being visited by an alien in a flying saucer. There is a pterodactyl flying overhead!

Your site says "not particularly large," but the dinosaur sculptures are pretty good sized. You can't get next to them, so I can't say a size for sure, but big enough to be quite impressive. My guess is an adult would come to about the middle of the one you have pictured. They are made of metal.

On Hwy 11 near the exit to Sinsinawa there are seven dinosaurs in the middle of a field. There are also baby dinosaurs coming out of eggs.
[Jean Dunk, 06/02/2011]Appear to be metal sculptures, not particularly large, and sprinkled around a field near the road.
Along HWY 11 West just before the sign to head into Sinsinawa, You will think you are in the middle of nowhere, but then you will see seven large metal dinosaurs (not including the babies coming out of their eggs) around a small creek. There is a barbed wire fence (to protect us from them, of course) but you can get close enough to take great pictures.
[Jean Dunk, 05/14/2011]Also included among the sculptures is a little alien in a flying saucer.
