Sponsored by the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officers Association (NAWEOA), the Game Warden Museum is at the International Peace Garden near Dunseith, along the Canadian border. Initially founded on a temporary basis in the 1990s, it became a permanent museum in 2005.
The museum honors the profession's fallen heroes -- who have given their lives in the line of duty -- and educates the public about Game Wardens.
