Giant tree trunk statues around Vermontville were created in a folk art style.

In Vermontville they have several larger-than-life statues. There are two giant Indians, as well as a giant firefighter, carved out of wood with a chain saw! They were carved by a local artist and are actually quite impressive! The local bar, Roadrunners, also showcases a lot of the same artist's work in carved beams, statues ect.
Every year this town has a "Syrup Festival" which celebrates the harvest of the maple sap and the transition into syrup. They have a Syrup Queen as well as a Little Miss Maple Syrup pagent. There is a large carnival every year too with fire works, and egg toss, arm wrestling and the festival is frequented by hundreds of bikers!
The town is also home to a retired army tank.
