Tree Top Walk.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

It took us about 2 hours to get through the beautiful rainforest. Definitely recommend the tree top walk.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

This is now a park, with the suspension bridge, a cliff walk, smaller suspension bridges connecting tree tops, and history stories.

You can't simply walk the bridge any more; now your inner daredevil is teased with several pulse-pounding attractions.

Bridge.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

The Capilano Suspension Bridge is very cool and well worth the trip. Go around noon to get the full effect of the sun coming through the trees.

[James Peuster, 01/30/2015]

The suspension bridge's first incarnation opened for precarious foot traffic in 1889, but was not meant to be a tourist attraction. A sturdier steel cable and cedar plank version built in 1956 still beckons, 230 ft. above the Capilano River.
