Just north of the center of town is a very colorful mural painted on a silo that depicts events in the town history. Around the back is a sign that describes those depictions.

The mural illustrates, among its many milestones, the 1929 Wigwam Gas Station that once stood on Main St. Also described: "Kremink, Indian wife of Mr. Tourtelott, who cut down trees to develop Main Street, oversees the past she once knew. Their bones lie in the Smithsonian Institute." (assuming they weren't repatriated)
