Gilbert the Golfer

Gilbert the Golf Ball

This grinning golf ball greets you to the golf mecca of Gilbert Plains, population 773. Gilbert is apparently channeling his inner Happy Gilmore by golfing with a hockey stick. Very easy access to and from the highway.

[Patrick Lewis, 11/06/2024]

According to his plaque, Gilbert was unveiled in 1997 and designed by Carla Mandzuik, who is also from Gilbert Plains.
