Started in 1954 for the 100th anniversary of the miracle site in France, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto was a project of the adjacent Roman Catholic church's father Philip Ruh. The anniversary would've been 1958, and by 1962, when the priest died, it still hadn't been completed. The cave-like structure, made of cement shaped to look like rocks was ultimately finished and is the province's largest Lourdes Grotto replica.
