The tides in the Saint John River are so extreme that a set of waterfalls spills one way as the tides rush out, then the other way when the tides pour back in. At slack times there's no action, so time your visit accordingly.

- Directions:
- Hwy 1/St John Throughway exit 119A-B. Turn north onto Catherwood St. Make first right onto Hwy 100. Drive north, cross the train tracks. Look for the big sign on the right just before the bridge across the St John River.
