Junk Creatures of Mike Goggans: Lirpa Anad Nitsud
I have seen many junk sculptures, but this place is by far the best. We stopped to get gas at a station across the street, and my wife noticed Lirpa standing there. We pulled over in front of Mike's place and noticed the T-Wrecks in the back yard. No one was around. We had a flying camera so we flew around for a few minutes and caught some pretty good shots of this one-of-a-kind sculpture.

Having recently discovered Roadside America, I decided to take a weekend road trip and see as many attractions as I could. The Lirpa Anad Nitsud sculpture was one of my first stops. I was impressed -- but the pictures don't do it justice. Instead of being a matte finish it is more of a shiny chrome-like finish.

The sign below the robot says Lirpa Anad Nitsud, which spelled backwards is Dustin, Dana, and April (maybe the artists' names?)
[Zeus, 04/09/2012]Or the names of the artist's children...and that's their terrifying cybernetic nanny.

We were in Fort Payne over the weekend and I got to see this sculpture, Zirpa Anad Nitsurd. It is still on County Road 89 (like you're going to DeSoto State Park). It's next to an old building that has a sign saying "The Barnyard." We thought it was pretty cool.

A very interesting collection of metal. Breastplates are Ford and DeSoto hubcaps, very good assortment of automotive parts and household appliances. Sign says; My name is "Zirpa Anad Nitsurd". Created by Mike Goggens, 1999.
