[Seth H, 12/02/2022]Correct -- in the 70s there was a 20-ft. Paul Bunyan holding a hockey stick up in front of the Trading Post. Someone must not have liked it, because they sawed one of the legs off with a chainsaw and that was the end of him.
This answer comes from my friend's sister's friend's husband who happens to live in Warroad currently.
[Cass, 04/09/2008]There used to be a Muffler Man in Warroad, MN, near the shores of Lake of the Woods. I'm not sure if he's still there. It's been more than 20 years since I last saw him. He used to be along the shore of the lake in Warroad, holding a giant hockey stick. I wish I could be of more help..................maybe someone in Warroad knows his whereabouts?!?!
