An easy pull off the road. He is a bit rough, but cool to think he is carved from a solid concrete block.

One of Concrete Man's arms has entirely broken off. The other is half gone. Also, he must've been repainted at some point, but is still just as terrifying.

I have been seeing this statue rot away for around 35 years now. It originally had a fishing rod in one hand, and if memory serves he was holding a fish in the other hand. I believe that he was repainted at least once over the years.

[Edith, 12/30/2013]It stands in front of a business called Spafford's Construction and Remodeling When I stopped and asked about it, I learned that he is known as the "Concrete Man of Citrus County." He was hand carved from a solid block of concrete. He is about 15 feet tall, with painted blue jeans and a yellow golf shirt, and bright red hair. The secretary told me that he has been a fixture in Citrus County for some 50 years.
