There is devastation all around, but the rooftop robots survived the 2019 Memorial Day tornadoes.
[Kitsa, 06/14/2019]The robots are at milepost 55.3 and can be seen going either direction, but heading southbound is the best opportunity for photography since there is a wide shoulder along the interstate with plenty of room to pull over. You are almost at roof level with them at this location.
There is no illumination at night, so morning is the best time for photography since they are facing east.
