Wally's, a 1937 gas station, is now a gift shop and photo op. Next door, the Mayberry Courthouse is a recreation of Sheriff Andy's official digs. Put your feet up on the desk, just like a TV star!

In addition to the re-created settings, you can also go for a ride in a police car. A small fleet of 1960s Galaxies take tourists around town with drivers giving some local Mount Airy history mixed with some Mayberry nostalgia. They'll even run the sirens for ya.
The cost for about a 30-40 minute tour was $40 and people were waiting up to two hours if they hadn't made a reservation.
