This sight is reminiscent of the strange pylons used by the "sleestacks" in the Land of the Lost show from a few decades ago. The silver pyramid-like structure is the fortress of solitude for local sci-fi writer Ruby Moon-Houldson, who has published over 35 books.
The 12x12x12 foot building is a quiet retreat for Moon-Houldson, where she can work without interference from the outside world.
The interior features such atmospheric catalysts as glow-in- the-dark wallpaper, blacklight carpets, neon-lighting, a color-shifting misting fountain bowl, and a VCR/DVD player. In this environment she sits and dreams up her next novel!
