What is Booya, you ask? It is a soup cooked in a large pot outdoors over a wood fire stirred with a canoe paddle. Ingredients vary per year, but mostly the soup is made with chicken, hamburger, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, rutabagas and onions. Very tasty.
