[Kayti McMyermick, 11/12/2017]Big Ed was completely refurbished when he was moved to Tucson from Rapid City, South Dakota, just before Christmas 2015.
The Muffler Man was completely refurbished with new paint, etc., upon arrival in Tucson from Rapid City, SD. Since he arrived right before Christmas 2015, he was immediately dressed in Santa Claus attire, and again for Christmas 2016. He will be changed into it every year. Throughout the rest of the year he is dressed for digging ditches while representing our great University of Arizona.

This is the former Stamper Miner from Rapid City, South Dakota. He is now located in Tucson. The new owners had him ready for Christmas, outfitted in a red Santa suit with a big candy cane in his hands.
