Old little town (Ghost Town), but a fun place to stop!
[Nancy Ferguson, 04/28/2018]
A Giant Arrow over 21 ft. tall marking Paducah's link to the Quanah Parker Trail is stuck in the ground beside the old Cottle County Jailhouse. Quanah Parker roamed throughout Cottle County, following one of the three Pease River branches as he traveled to the area ranches, where he was given beef, or to Teepee City just across the Cottle-Motley county line to trade.
The Giant Arrow and Jailhouse is a great photo opportunity. Visit quanahparkertrail.com for more info and arrows.
