13 ft. tall "Male Torso," sans arms, legs and head, is a 1992 sculpture by Colombian artist Fernando Botero. Part of a series of big body part figures by the sculptor, who turned 80 in 2012.

We searched for two hours for this sculpture (and got a great foot tour of downtown Miami). Sadly, we finally found the last known location, only to be told it was removed right before Christmas and no current location is known.
[Robin, 08/10/2016]The giant torso has moved again. Due to building construction on the corner of SE 9 and S. Miami Ave., it is now located along Biscayne Blvd along the western edge of Bayfront Park.
