Mr. Alligator is still in very good shape. Had a basketball in his mouth -- not sure they meant for it to be there -- right across from the stadium.

The 22-foot-tall, 16-ton concrete gator once stood in front of Casper's Gatorland (1946-82), which was north of St. Augustine. He originally clutched a cigar in his left paw.

Giant alligator with a walking stick statue is located in a grassy area on the west side of Metropolitan Park, just south of Everbank Field in downtown Jacksonville.
