Scottsdale, Arizona: Luxury Railroad Car Used by Hoover, FDR, Truman, and Ike

Four U.S. Presidents used the "Roald Amundsen" as their private Pullman railroad car from 1932 to 1952. Its interior has been restored; you can walk through, stand on the rear platform, and grab the brass rail just like a speechmaking presidential candidate!

There is so much more to this park. A little train you can ride on, a museum, a carousel, a huge play ground, and a playground like an old west fort. This is a perfect spot to stop if you have kids!

Well kept park. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed the adjacent building, with its gigantic model train set-up.
