Very moving. FYI: if the main gate is shut there is a walk-in gate to the right that is only closed with a U-latch.

I showed up before they were scheduled to open, and was able to walk into one area since that gate was open (the side facing the highway)
[Had2thinkawhile, 07/10/2019]I knew this one might be solemn, but I'm glad I went. It was simple and beautifully done. The host said that Kansas and Ohio have similar memorials. Every state should.

The Memorial of Perpetual Tears is at exit 196 off of I-40. Driving west on I-40, turn right at the exit then an immediate left. There is a DWI Memorial highway sign at both turns. The visitors center was closed for the day so we took pictures from the road. Backtrack to I-40 or you'll be on frontage roads for a few miles!
