There is a plaque on the side of the statue indicating it was erected by the Hoover family in remembrance of 9/11 and to honor firefighters, police, medical teams, and the military. There is also a new platform in place next to the statue that appears to be recently installed to perhaps hold another monument of some sort.

Erected some time in the past year, the Statue of Liberty is about ten feet tall from the pedestal base to the tip of the torch. There's a flagpole next to it, and a spotlight on it at night. I didn't notice a plaque anywhere, so I'm not sure if it commemorates something specific.
