Address:: 1701 N. Broadway St., Indianapolis, IN
Directions:: Martin Luther King Memorial Park. E 17th St. and N. Broadway St., south end of the park. N. Broadway dead-ends northbound between 16th and 17th and gives no access to the location, stay on 16th Ave. and turn north on College Ave, one block east of Broadway. Then turn left on 17th Ave., turn north on Broadway. Sculpture on left side.

Reaching across the divide.

Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy lean out from cutout slabs, attempting to touch hands across a sidewalk. Near this spot, while campaigning for President in 1968, Kennedy told a crowd King had been assassinated.
