- Union Pacific Caboose Park. Take US Hwy 6 west from Omaha to 240th St., turn south, drive two miles, then turn west again on Hwy 92. Drive two miles, turn south onto 246th St., drive one mile, then turn east onto F St. The Two Rivers State Recreation Area is a mile ahead, the cabooses on the left.

Renting a Caboose is $75 a night. If you're driving a vehicle into the park you need a sticker ($8 a day for out-of-state). Check-in is at 4pm for your rental, 11am to check-out.

In Two Rivers State Recreation Area, near Waterloo, Nebraska, you can rent a cabin which used to be a Union Pacific caboose. The cabooses have been fixed up, nicely, complete with bathroom, kitchen, and sleeping areas.
